Christine gained a degree in Fine Art Painting before working as a model maker for over 20 years in the advertising industry.

 

Working mainly in oils Christine uses thin glazes to create atmospheric landscapes and portraits that have a strong colourful and reflective quality that are contemporary in style and composition but manage to retain the essence of a traditional painting.

 

Christine loves to paint the seasonal rituals of the dairy farm that surrounds her home, the luminous light of dawn and dusk, and the rich and varied landscapes of Sussex and Kent from farmland to coast, as these are places that have influenced and inspired her from childhood.
