The WING Award 2021

Hosted by award-winning WING Gallery in East Sussex

 SUBMISSIONS

​

We are pleased to present the WING Award for our second year! Following an incredible set of submissions for our inaugural year, we are excited to launch our second set of submissions. 

 

The WING Award 2021 is dedicated to painting and sculpture. The award is open to artists at all stages of their careers, including students.

​

The competition is free to enter, welcoming both domestic and international entries.

​

Submitted work must be available for the period of the exhibition.

Successful entrants will be responsible for the delivery and collection of unsold work to the gallery.

​

THE PRIZE

 

The winner will receive a cash prize and a WING sculpture specifically designed by gallery owner and sculptor, Gavin Roweth.

​

The prize winner and runners up will have the opportunity to exhibit their work in the WING summer exhibition alongside artists currently represented by the gallery.

​

The prize winner, all runners up and many of submitted entries will enjoy exposure on the WING gallery website and social media. 

​

JUDGING

​

The judging panel will draw a shortlist from all the applicants.

​

Images of the shortlisted artist's work will be sent to everyone on the WING gallery mailing list, who will be invited to vote for their favourite painting or sculpture. The winners will then be announced.

APPLICATION

​

As part of your application, artists are invited to submit up to 3 images of their current works, alongside a short biography, social media accounts and website address.
