Jane’s art is essentially shamanic – that is to say it comes from an inner space of dreams, imagination and other dimensions with archetypal images and symbols.

The paintings constitute many layers of glazes, allowing the 'footprints of the past to show through....the destination is always unknown.

 

Jane calls her style Organic Expressionism, where each mark informs the next...a journey, like life itself.
